Foundations Program

Welcome to DeadSet Fitness in Brandon, MB! Our Foundations Program is a great way to learn what functional fitness is all about, whether you’re a beginner looking to kickstart your fitness journey, or an experienced gym member wanting to learn the fundamentals of proper movement.

Through a combination of strength training, conditioning, and functional movements, participants in the Foundations Program can expect to build a solid fitness base, improve mobility, and become more comfortable and confident as you progress into regular classes.

what to expect

DeadSet Fitness’ Foundations Program may be booked indiviually or combined in a small group based on demand. A Coach will walk you through basic movements to ensure you are moving safely, efficiently, and effectively.

You will be exposed to proper technique in common movement patterns like squatting, hinging, and pressing. Do not expect to move heavy weights (yet!) or to see any higher complexity skills – our Foundations Program is all about setting a solid base as you work towards a healthier, stronger, and much more capable version of yourself.

Based on class size and experience level, the Foundations Program may be completed in up to 6 sessions.

I enjoy Kinsley as a coach. She takes the time to pause what i am doing to make corrections often by doing an example. I find that she also takes the time to make sure I either have a plan for my modifications to the work out/giving me a few modification to choose from. As a person new to gym and very out of shape in both fitness and mobility this make me feel welcome and comfortable at Deadset.

Brooke is an amazing coach. She always pushes us to do better and always cheers us on during the workout! I enjoy coming to deadset with the girls and the workouts benefit me as an athlete!

Centrally located in Brandon, one block south of the of the 1st St / Victoria Ave major intersection, steps away from Brandon Regional Health Centre, and between Brandon University and Assiniboine College.

Working out at the gym isn’t easy. But getting there shouldn’t be hard. DeadSet Fitness is located and easily accessible from all of Brandon.
